past history
Electromyography (EMG) is used to detect certain muscle movements.
Electrodes are inserted under the skin and record electrical activity when a muscle is flexed.
First introduced in the 1950s, EMG has evolved and improved over time. Around the 1990s, EMG equipment was replaced with computers and more modernized technology. EMG is now used in hospitals on patients to detect muscular abnormalities.
Now, we want to use this technology to detect muscle memory, and implement it into a virtual reality game.
